Waves crashed against the shore, staining the white sand with dark splotches of black before receeding back into the frothing, foaming body that it had come from. Thousands of glimmering stars glowed in the dark purple sky above, and the Stardust glowed like a silver orb in the never ending expanse of darkness, illuminating the foaming waters with ribbons of silver light that twinkled and sparkled in the waves. A soft, whispering wind breathed across the landscape, rustling the green grasses that poked up between the white sand and creating a harmony of notes throughout the air.
De La Soul sat atop a grassy hill, her bright yellow eyes scanning over the lively waters of the Eastern Sea. She closed her eyes briefly and breathed in the cold wind of the night, which brought to her the scent of the sea and the cold skies of the night. De La Soul felt that there was no place that could be any more beautiful than this in the entire expanse of the Endless Forest, or on the whole planet for that matter. There was nothing more that she loved than the spray of the sea and the crashing of the waves, the rustling of the grass and the glimmering of the Stardust in the sky. There was no place De La Soul would rather be. This was truelly heaven on earth.

Dawn breathed in the scent of the ocean. Ahhh. So she had arrived, at last, at the Eastern Sea. The grass felt so soft against her empty belly. She would have to hunt soon, but not now.
Spotting a cat along the hill, Dawn was surprised. She had not expected another cat here. No chance of a Clan cat; they were far from the closest of the territories. She decided to approach the new cat, and padded silently toward her.
"Hello," breathed Dawn, settling down next to the she-cat. Her eyes appeared to be closed. Was she sleeping, or just taking in the scent of the ocean?
((Gosh, that was a bad RP. >_<))

((Naaw. It was mighty purty))
De La Soul opened her yellow eyes at the sound of another cat. A strange scent wound around her, the scent of a cat she had never encountered before. The pale tan she-cat swiveled her head to face the cat, then blinked a few times. Usually, cats she encountered on her travels challenged her to a fight, or told her to get off of their land. Instead, this cat had merely said hello. De La Soul stared stupidly for a few moments, not knowing what to say.
Then, her voice came to her. "Oh...hello..." She meowed quietly, tipping her head curiously to one side. "I usually never see cats this far east...tell me...what are you doing here?"

"Oh, I like wandering here and there. It's fun. You know, finding stuff about places and things." This cat--whoever she was--seemed friendly. Not the type to attack, not that she had met any rude cats around recently. She decided to add, "I'm Dawn. Are you a loner?" It seemed like a rude thing to ask, so she smiled at the other cat to release any tension.
