Appearance- Cloudedstar is a pretty she-cat. She has a long body and long, thick legs built with muscle. She is fairly large, although that is not unusual among CloudClan cats since they need to be large to survive in the mountains. Her fur is a soft, cloudy white. There are many faint, barely visible, gray tabby stripes on her flanks. These stripes continue along one of her fore-legs, then ends in a completely black paw. All of her paws are black except for her other fore-paw, which is pale gray. Cloudedstar has black tabby rings running along her tail, and has a few black stripes on her chest that run along to her back then fade into gray. Her face is white, and she has a few gray hash-marks over her eyes and on her fore-head. Cloudedstar's eyes are a pale, milky blue, which are milky because she is blind.
Personality- Cloudedstar is a kind cat. She has no bitterness about her blindness, and has a positive outlook on life. Cloudedstar is usually in a cheerful mood, and it takes a lot to make her angry or upset. She isn't a very quiet cat- she likes to speak her opinion and isn't afraid to give it. Cloudedstar, when she does get angry, is something to fear, and once a cat makes her angry she will be angry about it for the rest of the day. Cloudedstar isn't paticularly fond of the other Clans, and will deny a cat from another Clan help if they are asking for it. She is very unlikely to ally her Clan with another, and would rather fight against another Clan than be friends with them. Cloudedstar is respectful towards her senior warriors, although it will take some time before she will respect the younger cats.
History- Cloudedstar was born blind. Her mother rejected Cloudedstar when she realized that she was blind, and another queen had to raise her. It was difficult for Cloudedstar growing up, the other cats felt that she could never be an apprentice, and always treated her differently because of her blindness. The leader even considered sending Cloudedstar to live with the elders when she was old enough to be an apprentice, but was spared this early retirement by her foster mother, who convinced the leader to let Cloudedstar be an apprentice. Reluctantly, he agreed.
Apprenticeship proved difficult for Cloudedstar. She had to learn completely different hunting techniques and fighting moves than the other apprentices, and it took her much longer to earn her warrior name. She earned it after a battle against MoonClan, in which she proved she can fight just as well as any other cat. No one ever thought she would become the deputy, and when she did at the age of thirty moons it took a very long time for the Clan to accept and respect her.
Cloudedstar finally earned that respect in another battle against one of the Clans. The Clan leader fell ill and couldn't lead the Clan, so Cloudedstar had to lead the Clan into battle. After the Clan won the fight, they started to show Cloudedstar more respect, and when she became leader ten moons later the Clan knew there was no other cat fit for the job. She has lost four of her lives so far- one to walking right over the edge of a cliff, two to sickness, and the other one to a border fight against MoonClan very long ago.
