This is a Glossary for all of the terms used by these four Clans. They are different than what normal Clans use, so make sure you read these thorougly.
The Growing Season- This is spring, or New-Leaf, as the earth Clans call it. It is called the Growing Season because plants grow at the fastest rate in this season. The sun is up for five hours during this season.
The Rain Season- This is summer, or Green-Leaf. It is called the Rain Season because it rains the most during this season, at least three times a week. The sun is up for twelve hours during this season.
The Dry Season- This is autumn, or Leaf-Fall. It is called the Dry Season because this season is the driest, and leaves and plants dry out and die during this season in preparation for the next season. The sun is only up for five hours during this season.
The Cruel Season- This is winter, or Leaf-Bare. This is named the Cruel Season because hurricane force storms, tornados, flash floods, and fog storms happen very frequently during this season. There are no leaves on the trees and in the undergrowth, but it does not snow and does not get very cold. The sun does not rise during this season.
Stars- Stars are months. As this planet has no moon, cats use the stars as a method of telling time. One Star is a month.
Dawn- This is the time just before the sun rises. The Stardust is the brightest during this time of day.
Sun Rise- This is when the sun is rising over the horizon.
Sun High- This is when the sun is at its highest point in the sky.
Sun Set- This is when the sun is begining to set towards the horizon.
Twilight- This is the time just between Sun Set and Star Rise. The sky begins to turn purple during this time.
Star Rise- This is when the sun has set and night is begining to set in. Since the sun does not rise during the Cruel Season, cats use this for telling time during this season.
Star High- This is when the night is at its highest point. This can be determined by checking the location of the Stardust; it will be the highest in the sky during this time.
Star Fall- This is when night is begining to turn into day. The Stardust lowers towards the horizon during this time but does not set.
Stardust- The Stardust is a huge, saturn-like planet with dust-like rings that are visible from the forest. The Stardust is very sacred to the Clan cats, and it is believed that the souls of deceased cats go to the Stardust. The Stardust is most visible at dawn, but can be seen in the sky throughout the day.
The Stardust Tree- This tree is where the four Clans meet in peace on the first day of each Star. The meetings here are held from Star Fall to Dawn, when the Stardust is the most visible.
The Stardust Stone- This stone is where cats come to communicate with StardustClan. Medicine cats come here at the end of each Star, from the time between Star Rise and Dawn.
The Endless Forest- This is what the Clans call the forest that they live in. It is a huge forest, and is seemingly endless.
