Name- Rainstar
Age- 48 Stars
Previous Names- Rainkit, Rainpaw, Rainfeather
Gender- She-cat
Clan- NightClan
Rank- Leader
Extra- Lives Left- 7
Appearance- The dark gray of Rainfeather's pelt seems to blend into the darkness of night and the foggy mist of a stormy day. With thick but short fur, her pelt is perfect for both warm and cold environments without making her uncomfortable. The sharp amber of her eyes are also so dark that they can appear almost crimson, and always seem to glow as luminous as the stars against her tabby striped muzzle. The darkest shade of gray can be seen along her chest and paws, also sparkling along the sides of her tail and underbelly in the form of subtle tabby markings that can be seen only close up. Other than that her pelt is all a lighter gray, with patches of almost white rarely seen but there along her eyes and muzzle. Rainstar is about average in size for a cat, though her thick fur can make her appear larger. She is quite fast, though she does not lack in power either.

Personality- Rainstar's presence can change extraordinarily. Depending on her mood, a close friend can be greeted with a comment as sharp as her claws, or her much more common sly remark which can be difficult to decipher from an insult or compliment. Very rarely is she strait-forward, preferring to make a less direct approach to situations, but somehow she usually gets the better hand. She is very witty and always seems to have something to comment about, and nothing satisfies her more than having the last laugh. Though these features can be hard to order into pros and cons, her charm and mysterious nature can be hard to not be interested in. Rainstar is also very dedicated to her clan, and her strength in battle is to be feared. She also has her bad points though too. She has been rather eccentric since her moon alone after her friends death, and besides that is a bit of a perfectionist. She has strange ways of proving her points, and rarely takes things seriously. Those unfamiliar with her would think she was just plain insane, but she usually has a motive for her every action.
History- Rainstar's parents had been great warriors. Her mother Eveningwhisker was a gentle queen who was soft-spoken and kind, while her father Oakfur was strong and loyal, respected well among the clan. The two had been together since they had been apprentices, so it wasn't strange at all when they ended up becoming mates and having two kits together. Rainfeather and her sister Dustheart were as different as day and night though, in both personality and appearance. Dustheart was dark brown and black, taking after Oakfur in appearance, and was very stick-to-it to the rules. She was brave and loyal, and though Rainfeather is too, she lacks her sister's deep sense of morality and truth. Rainkit on the other hand had always been sly and cheeky, charming yes, but she also always had a real gift for getting into trouble. Still, the two kits promised to be great warriors indeed.
Rainstar's apprenticeship went well overall. She mellowed out over time, and showed great skill like her parents. Her best friend had been another apprentice named Sunpaw, and before long the two were rarely seen without the other. They earned their warrior names the same night, after fighting bravely in a battle with another clan. Rainpaw became Rainfeather, and Sunpaw Sunstreak. It seemed that the two grew even closer after that, and were destined to become mates. One night however, Sunstreak was killed in a border skirmish. Rainfeather was beyond distraught. Her life long friend was dead, gone forever. She left the clan that night without a word to anyone, and was gone a moon before finally returning, looking a little more ragged but well. She explained that she had needed time to get over it and was well now, but said nothing else about her journey. She began warrior life again without a trace of sorrow, but she did change a little. Eventually she worked her way to the position of deputy, and after the leader died she took their place also.
Roleplay Example- Imma use some other cats for this, just for the record v.v
The dim shadows of the NightClan camp were as forbidding as ever. Darkness was cast across every corner of the shelter, wiping out any source of light in it's path except for the bright sheen of cat's eyes that subtly lit up the clearing with life. Not a breeze could pass through the thick barrier of leaves and undergrowth, but most of the residents didn't mind. It was just another small price to pay for their land. Indeed most of the residents didn't mind the few cons, but of course there was always at least one cat who thrived off of complaining. The only catch, this one was leader.
"I'm not even sure which one is worst!" The NightClan she-cat muttered to herself irritably as she licked her gray fur furiously. "During Cruel season when I have to wring out my tail to get it dry, or in Rain season when it's so humid I can't go three heartbeats without having my pelt stick to me" She lay stretched out across her den, her amber gaze locked upon her pelt sharply. Why did everything just have to be so difficult? She resumed to rasp her pink tongue over her fur, continuing with a stream of curses until the nearing pawsteps of another cat forced her to look up.
"Uh, Rainstar?" A ginger tom meowed as he stopped at the entrance of the den.
"Oh...hello Flameheart." Rainstar answered, not sounding very pleased about being interrupted. She paused for a moment before going back to her pelt. "What do you need?"
Flameheart shifted his paws with discomfort. "The dawn patrol caught scent of that fox that we chased out last star."
The NightClan leader paused in mid-lick before looking back up with a blank stare. "What fox?"
The young warrior was taken aback. Maybe they were right and Rainstar was completely mad. He shook the thought away. "It attacked a patrol about a star ago. Remember, that was how Rustfoot was injured.
Rainstar yawned, "If you say so." Was her reply as she got up to her paws. "I guess we'll have to teach it another lesson then." Before Flameheart could move she was out of the den. Maybe today would be interesting after all.
